Minutes of previous meeting (Sept meeting): 

Changes or corrections to the minutes - none.

Motion to approve the Sept minutes was made by Bob Dorfman seconded by Mike Covell and passed.

Please be sure to attend the Post meetings if you are a Legion member, and Auxiliary if you are an Auxiliary member. We are Legionnaires first and need to also be active at the Post level.

Don’t forget to send your hours on the first of the month to Ron. Number of hours for Community/Veterans; number of hours for Post.

PGR needs Honor Flag Bikes and Road Guards. Let John know if you are interested.

This Saturday – Adrenaline Therapy Ride – VA Dom – 7:45 AM – Ride to Crown King (ATVs). John M is RC.

Friday, 10/24 – PGR – Joe Vohs. Former ALR 6 member, USA, VN. PNC – 12:15. Jesse Donoghue RC.

Saturday, 10/25 – ALA Oktoberfest @ VFW (PV)– 5-6 PM Trish has tickets.

Monday, 10/27 – 4-8 – ALA fundraiser at Panera . Need a flyer or the code on flyer.

Tuesday, 10/28 (4 to 8) – Post 108 fundraiser @ Texas Roadhouse. Need help manning our table. Do need a flyer.

Saturday, 11/1 – D8 meeting. Post 25. Noon.

Wreaths Across America Dec 17 at 11:00 at PNC. Only motorcycles can park at the PNC. Cages should park at Yavapai College.

Finance Report: Bob Meadowcroft

Balance as today is $2566.71. Red Robin sent a check for $117.00.

Road Captain: Bob Meadowcroft. Riders went to Gilligan’s in Yarnell last week. 

Planned a ride to Crusty’s Pizza in Camp Verde on Monday Oct 20.

Plan to go to Cowboy Cooking in Nov. Decision to avoid the bad left lane merger onto US 93 south by turning right onto SR 71 in Congress and then going west to US 93 South. It adds only 8 miles to the trip south. The return trip will be the normal right merger onto SR 89. 

Webmaster: Ron Arrigoni 

The website is doing well with 985 likes and 22 new followers.

Quartermaster: Lynn Sweezy – None.

Membership: Cindy Arrigoni (per Ron)– currently 32 members.

Sgt at Arms: Mike Covell – None.

Motion to accept the Officer’s Reports (Finance subject to audit) made by Tonto and seconded by Mike Covell.

Bob M & Bob D will bring  ALR, Post and Aux application forms and  brochures.

John will drop everything off to Mike Brown Friday afternoon.

New Business: 

ALR D8 VA BBQ – 155 meals (vs. 204 last year). Committee meeting Friday @ Post 25 – noon.

Freedom Rock in PV Pavers. Wayne Brewer has a potential deal for us. He thinks we can get 3 pavers, one each for the Riders, Auxiliary, and Post for just $500.00. They are regularly $250.00 each for businesses.

Split 3 ways, that would be $166.66 each.

Jim Turner and Karen Olkoughlin described the rock and pavers.
