Present: Director, Assistant Director, Road Captain, Secretary, Finance Officer, Webmaster, Quarter-Master, Membership-excused, Sgt-at-Arms, and Chaplain.

We have a quorum.

Intro of new members: none as per call to John.

Minutes of previous meeting for July.

Changes or corrections to the minutes - none.

Motion to approve the May minutes was made by Ron seconded by Tonto and passed.

Officer’s reports: 

Director: John Mofffitt

Please be sure to attend the Post meetings if you are a Legion member, and Auxiliary if you are an Auxiliary member. We are Legionnaires first and need to also be active at the Post level.

Don’t forget to send your hours on the first of the month to Ron. Number of hours for Community/Veterans; number of hours for Post.

Also include mileage for these events. Miles for Legion events; miles for community/vets

8/18 – Post fundraiser @ Culver’s – 5-8 PM . We need lots of bussers to deliver food.

 8/21 – PGR Flag line @ PNC – Jack Taylor – USN – Past Post 6 Commander.  Staging: 9:15 AM

8/22 – PGR Flag line @ Pioneers Home Cemetery (Iron Spring Road, right before Blue Ocean Car Wash). Dan Fleming – Army – Staging: 9:15 AM

8/29 – ALR D8 VA BBQ. Please be at Building 15 by 9 AM. Bob Dorfman – please  make sure the beans are hot or at least warm. VA BBQ - add: "Lunn Sweezy will bring a roaster for beans to the BBQ"

9/7 – Labor Day. Flags go up on Highway 69

9/12 - VA Suicide Prevention Run – Register at the VA between 8 and 9 AM

AZALR Bikefest – 10/14 - 10/18 - @ ALR 41 (Phoenix)

ALR Western Romp – 10/8 – 10/11. @ ALR 9 (Florence) 

Reminder to get your tickets for the Legion District 8 BBQ from Gary. $8 per person.

The Gold Star Mothers need 2 or 3 volunteers to help them set up their pop-up on September 19 for Hope Fest at the Prescott Courthouse Plaza. Don't have an exact time yet. No-one volunteered to help yet.

We lost 2 riders this week – both from ALR 78 -Les Peters and Lexi Mitchell. Our prayers to go their families.

A good ride with 3 riders in July to Pine Country Restaurant in Willams.

A ride possible to Seligman next Monday.

Followers 990 and 265 views, which is down 50%.

Currently 33 members are all paid up as per John.

Motion to accept the Officers Reports unanimously passed (Finance subject to audit).

Donate to WAA. $17 each. $102 buys 6. "Motion was made and unanimously passed to donate $102.

Donate to Copper State Young Marines. They need a lot of new equipment. Motion  made to donate $125 to them by Bob Dorfman seconded by Tonto and passed.

Announcements 

John read a Letter from the Gold Star Mothers thanking the ALRs for the $100 donation support.

ACE fund raiser is next month. Will have 2 shifts 4 hours each.  This will be discussed next month.

There is a combination rider in honor of Springer August 22. Tonto will send out a flyer about it.
