Ø Called to Order at 1730 hours

Ø Opening Ceremonies, Opening Prayer offered by Tim Roeder.

Ø Roll Call of Officers

o Absent: None

o Present: Director, Assistant Director, Road Captain, and Sgt-at-Arms, Webmaster, Secretary, Quartermaster/Membership, Sgt at Arms, Chaplain

o We have a quorum.

Ø Minutes of previous meeting: Motion to approve the minutes of the August meeting as written; seconded; Motion passed. 

Ø Introduction of Guest: Nick Furdin prospective member.

Ø OFFICERS REPORTS

Ø Treasurer Bob Meadowcroft reported that we currently have $2237.39 John Moffitt made a motion to approve subject to audit. Second, and passed. 

Ø Director Joe Dugan, Please be sure to attend the Post meetings if you are a Legion member, and Auxiliary if you are an Auxiliary member. We are Legionnaire’s first and need to also be active at the Post level.

Ø Vice Director John Moffitt reported: PGR Saturday in Yarnell, Group Honors Wed. MIA Honors in Belmont Oct 11, Sat is the Hope Feast downtown where there will be a Double Gold Star mom speaking, and reminded all to order their new blue ALR shirts.

Ø Road Captain Bob Meadowcroft reported that the ride to Seligman had a road issue and they took and alternative route back. Oak Creek Canyon is not good for riding as the GW bridge is being replaced. The ride to Yarnell Monday was changed to branch at Lindo Mexicano and a ride to the end of pavement on Williamson Valley Road. Of the 33 members of the riders 21 have been on at least 1 ride so far.

Ø Webmaster, Ron Arrigoni, there are now 922 followers, 377 new hits, so the Facebook is doing well.

Ø Secretary Sandy Meadowcroft, no report.

Ø Membership/Quartermaster, Suzzane reported we now have 34 members.

Ø Sgt-at-Arms, Mike Covell, no report 

Ø Chaplain, Juanita Moffitt, no report 

Ø Motion made to accept the Officers’ reports; seconded and passed.

Ø Old Business: Upcoming District 8 family picnic and ALR VA BBQ. 

Ø New Business: None

Ø Anything else for the good of the Legion? None
